We interrupt this broadcast....

"...for a critical 'where's waldo' type scenario - especially if you live in Augusta Georga:"

Florie R. in Augusta GA - - Please call me back!!

Florie is a wonderful knitter in Augusta GA who meets with other wondeful knitters at the local library. They told her all about us over here at chez Vintage and we had a wonderful phone chat when she called me. Now, she says she's not online and so I'm looking for other knitters in Augusta to help me find her. If you'd please have her give me a call ASAP, that would be WONDERFUL. Otherwise, you'll find me calling every library in Augusta, and I don't even know when they meet.

"And now, back to your regularly scheduled broadcast"

It's almost to late!
... to get in on the club, that is.
Here's a hint:

If you haven't heard from me yet regarding your club membership and you've paid for a spot - your in like Flynn. (Bet you didn't know Flynn was a knitter, eh?) I'll have a welcome note out to you in a couple of days.

If you mailed in payment via check/money order, please email me to make sure I have a way to contact you other than just dropping kits out of the blue on you, via the USPS. There are contests & stuff and I'd hate to see you miss them! If your PLANNING to mail me payment via check/money order, let me know asap so I can pin a name to the board for you here.

Yes, I'm still mailing out kits that you wonderful knitters have ordered. Yes (Colleen) I'm still spinning 'the yarn' as it's known by around here.

I know I paid so I shall wait patiently to be inducted. Do I need to wear a sash and a silly hat or do I just raise my hand and repeat the words?

All right people! Ya'll need to hurry up and fill up the spots so I'll stop being tempted! Seriously people - I've never knit a sock (thereby making these more than likely way above my skill level) and I seriously can NOT afford being in the sock club (this year) and ya'll gotta hurry up and make it impossible for me to even consider! :)

I know I s h o u l d wait patiently, but hey, I so totally get the hang on this impatience-thing. And I LOVE it!
Note to Jennifer: Hope, it does not bother you. I know, I sound like a three-year old with a heavy I-want-instant-gratification-syndrome. Ignore it.
(Note to self: I so deserve instant gratification, because I've been a smart girl. I d i d sign up for the flocksock club.)
Every mornig, I wake up, thinking, maybe the sock kit arrives today! (Can't be. Sipping overseas takes at least two weeks.) But well, miracles do happen, you know. I am always hoping for miracles. For years, I expected some exiting plant to start growing in my balcony pots, so I would not weed out stuff, and you know what? After ten years, something nice appeared! So, who knows. Maybe the sock kit arrives tomorrow?

PS: Whats with this anonymous thing? A do not want to be an anonymous knitter.

I'm patient....I have 4 kids, so I sort of have to be in self defense!

BTW, I've signed up for the sock club, and I assume that you have all my stuff (like payment and addy). Gimme a shout if you don't.

And I keep talking myself out of those leafy socks, but if Stephanie doesn't get those photos off of her blog, I may just cave! Although _not_ those colors....gotta have the purple, it and the gold just shine!

I'm waiting patiently. I've been behind the eight ball a time or two myself. Do what you have to do but take care of yourself. When my first kit arrives I'll be totally taken by surprise!

I am from Augusta--don't know Floie (or of any knitting groups in the library). There is a group at the museum--but I will do some asking around and pass along the word for you-

Stephanie tripped me....made me fall down and hit the Add-to-cart button on the Vintage socks (Pinot), just like Jennifer said is happening a lot...it's all _her_ fault, not mine!

Why is she tripping so many people? ;-)
